It was produced to celebrate the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France.
It was the first time France won and Le Creuset produced this unique Soccer Ball Dutch oven design . Only a few thousand were produced.
The item was used for serving dips and food while entering.
Marked on the underside of the top handles.
Approx. 9” across handle to handle ( 8” without the handles) x 7 1/2” Tall with lid on .

READ: Nice vintage condition showing wear consistent with age and use , two small chips ( enamel ) , one on the handle and the other one on the rim , barely noticeable, few shelf stains on the bottom .
